What is our climate like?

Although we live on and near the equator line our climate is quite temperate because of the high Andes. It is said that you can find somewhere in Ecuador for whatever season or temperature ranges you like. We have two seasons - summer and winter. In summer it is cooler and drier and in winter it rains more and is warmer.

In Santo Domingo it is about 20-25c all year around and rains a lot. In summer it rains in the morning and is cloudy. In winter it is sunny in the morning and rains heavily in the afternoon.
