News from Romania... (July 2006)
Dear friends and partners in the Kingdom,
Our God is wonderful! And everything He does is good!
It’s Saturday night, the camp it’s over and all the equipment is stored in good conditions! More than 300 young people from all over the country left the camp yesterday – blessed, touched by the Lord and having wonderful testimonies! Praise the Lord – HE DID IT AGAIN!!!
Thank you all for praying with us for this camp – the weather was excellent, we only had some rain and low temperatures Sunday and Monday – the last 4 days of the camp were extremely nice –almost too nice to keep the young people under the big tent for spiritual things! Thank the Lord for His provision!
More than a half of the participants were there for the first time – and many of them very young, teenagers. We were a little concerned at the beginning of the camp, but as things developed, they proved very open and receptive to the teaching given.
The topic of the camp was “Kingdoms inside the Kingdom” – learning to fit our little kingdom into God’s Kingdom. There were messages and seminars on the renewing of the mind, righteousness, decision making process, praise and worship, intimacy with the Father – and though not planned before, all the messages pointed to obedience to the Lord – our will submitted to His will. Also there were long and fruitful times of personal ministry – listening to their problems, confessions and praying for them until everyone coming forward was prayed for - usually lasting until after midnight! Not to mention the praise & worship times – so many good teams, we hardly could fit them all to lead people in praise to God!
As usual, the last service was a testimony service –and many of them came forward and had good things to say. Pray with us that what started there during the camp will continue to develop, and these young people will truly be the Kingdom people who will make a difference for our country!
A special thanks to Dr. Carroll Thompson and Bethesda Church in Dallas, who helped financially and assisted us again – bro. Carroll’s ministry was very much appreciated, as usual! Thank you Bro. Carroll for the encouragement to keep the camp going –seeing a great future for the youth of Romania!
This was camp number 13 – we started in 1994 with our brothers from Timisoara, then since 2000 we organized our own camp. I thought this last week of the literally thousands of young people blessed, delivered, committed and recommitted to the Lord, and can’t say anything else but “Thank you, Lord” and thank you for helping and supporting us! The Lord has used you, our faithful friends and brothers in Christ, to bless us with the big tent, power generators, sound system, chairs, and all the equipment necessary for such a camp! May the Lord receive glory and praise through all the changed lives – and reward you all mightily!
