2007 AGM - Sunday 10th June 2007

We held our AGM on a Sunday again this year, having a short meeting before the service for the "business" part of the day.

Susan painting during the service

The service included some different activities including Susan doing a painting...

The 'hope' tree

... and people being invited to think about their hopes for the coming year and hang them on a tree which appeared in the centre that morning.

John surveying some of the activities.

There were a number of displays around the hall from the different groups within the church. Here's John surveying one of the displays of last year's activities...

JWS Display

... The very creative display from JWS (Junior Work Shop - this is the children's work). We were invited to take a Fair-Trade chocolate and a card with the name of one of our children, which would remind us to pray for that child.

Gleaming cars after the carwash!

A car wash followed the service, to help raise money for the Ecuador Church building programme. It was a lovely sunny day and the cars were gleaming afterwards! This was followed by a bring & share lunch.
