Lizzie's exhibition was in four parts:
  • Sweet treats
  • Houses of Avebury
  • Printing
  • African Masks.
The work was presented for her Certificate of Education in Art

Masks are important to many African societies,
especially in West Africa.
They are used for many reasons.
One such mask was worn by members of a woman's secret society.
It taught women to be graceful,
spiritual, wise and beautiful.
It is worn by the Yoruba of Nigeria.
